I maintained good consistency straight through the trip and the landing, by hook and by crook and mostly by the temporarily necessarily evil of phone computing. And then I fell apart for the last four days. Which is to say: this is posted under the 14th, but on the 18th.

The Cult of the Red String Bracelet

A really fine little mini-doc which tells the story of the titular cult, which was extremely popular two decades ago, and still exists, having been inherited by the children of the original founders, in spite of numerous scandals.

At the same time, the video also doubles as a cultural history of Madonna, who was deeply involved financially and ‘spiritually’, with the organization. I hope you enjoy.
