If you want to get tested for the virus in Canada, under a single-payer system, you can do it in a drive-through, and for free.
In South Korea, they are testing ten thousand people a day. And incidentally, their Internet is 24 times faster.
Is there any American here who knows what do about getting tested, or how many thousands out of pocket it might cost?
I don’t.
Today I slept in after the journeys, and I thought about going out, for food mainly. But I didn’t. When I do it will be an expedition, and a major haul, so I don’t have to do it again any time soon. I’ll try to find or buy gloves. A face mask. I’ll bring the hand sanitizer we made ourselves, because you can’t buy any, because they don’t have it.
This is already a seismic shock to the way life happens, and it’s only just starting.
Lord knows where it will end.
