Catch-26

She was here for the weekend and we cleaned the second half of the kitchen to make a temporary efficient storage space, moving half the mess into it stacked high. So my office basically doubled in size, and next the clothes can meet the closets too.

There’s a much cheaper variation on the shed theme afoot as well. But that will go largely on hold in preference to the Water project, planned to start in earnest next weekend with the rental of a mechanized trencher.

I cleared the area late in the afternoon, but couldn’t find the meter. Locating it is step one. The public works department might help. They open tomorrow.

This is all very much too journaliztic for me. But I have caught the spill by the tail at least. The damage to it was more or less a week. And there are still those draft bits to fill in some of it–I won’t try to do it all, but I will try to have that be the end of the writerly bad-boy-ness.

It’s just now the last Monday in July, and I’m where I said I would be mostly. This is the progress of holding the line. It doesn’t move forward but it moves upward.
