*I don’t think for example that Mike Gravel would make a great president in 2020. Just like I don’t think abolishing ICE actually matters. But he (and she) are up in first place for the same reason that I’m glad some people say they want to get rid of ICE. These things push the grander Debate in helpful directions. Marianne’s interview with Cenk is similar. Do I want a President who is still in the process of making up her mind on Medicare for all? Not really. But the fact that she exists and is willing to evolve on camera is pretty cool.
