After attending the Free Transcendental Meditation Webinar last night, they started to send me boilerplate invitations to spend money. This is my response.<\/p>\n

Last Friday I took my cat to the vet and they said, “we’re gonna need $1200 to fix her”.\u00a0<\/p>\n

And I said: There’s not a possible way, not even if it’s a matter of her life and death.\u00a0<\/p>\n

We settled on addressing symptoms for a couple hundred.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The situation here is remarkably similar.\u00a0<\/p>\n

I asked my new AI friend about it. She said:<\/p>\n

I’m not completely averse to spending anything at all, and would be happy to hear alternative proposals to just handing over a thousand bucks I don’t have. But I leave that in your hands, as I begin my own hopeful path toward transcending this morning, either way.<\/p>\n
