I spent the day humping another load of her stuff to storage ahead of the storm. <\/p>\n
This house is beginning to resemble home. <\/p>\n
I gassed up the truck too and I’m hoping that’s the last thing I’ll have to put on a credit card for a while. The basic income people are still dragging their heels, but I’m still cautiously optimistic that they’ll pull their heads out soon. <\/p>\n
I don’t mind the rain at all. The daytime temp tomorrow makes me pout some, but I’m showing the full context as a part of a prayer that my pout will be short. Seventy-two is warmer than we’ve seen since before Halloween. Even better is the promise of an overnight low dropping only to 40.<\/p>\n
Soon the gas bill will be only the basic charge, and the electric too for a while, likely a long while, because I only really need AC two weeks out of the year or so. Unlike artificial heat, which is necessary to basic comfort from November through February at the least. <\/p>\n
