Nine thousand views over the last five months<\/a>. Be young and extroverted and do it in a Subaru. <\/p>\n

The American middle ground:<\/p>\n

Thirty thousand views over the last three months<\/a>. Be older and relatably richer and do it in a Class A motor coach. <\/p>\n

Or just sell yourself without remorse: <\/p>\n

Half a million views in under two months<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Be networked and carry a lens the size of your arm, and do it in whatever the sponsor, GMC in this case, tells you to do it in, because that’s how the sausage really gets made. <\/p>\n

I don’t know if I can explain it clearly. <\/p>\n

But I am definitely unwilling, and possibly unable, to be a success in any of these ways. <\/p>\n

There will be no soothing music.<\/p>\n

There will be no shots from a drone. <\/p>\n
