I could produce a sound without the help of anyone else, and I was guaranteed that it would be heard by some small group of people at least. And I didn&#8217;t have any obligation to listen back or reply.<\/p>\n<p>That was the late eighties. In the late nineties the web began to serve the same function. One producer pushing out content. A small group of listeners at least, participating sometimes (listeners called the radio station once in a while), but basically a one-way communication. <\/p>\n<p>And &#8216;writing&#8217;. The same.<\/p>\n<p>Less congenial is anything you do with a phone. Theater, which for all the joys of doing it requires a team, and film more or less too.<\/p>\n<p>I think it would be possible to push videos and ignore the comments section mostly.
