We were up at 4 and for hour upon hour it was the perfect day.<\/p>\n

Many miles away, around noon, the afternoon had its challenges. It was still almost perfect until 4:30 or so.<\/p>\n

By five, it was back to perfect. <\/p>\n

Permit me to explain. <\/p>\n

The Subaru enjoyed driving around in Utah so very much that it decided to stay another two weeks without us, and go to a spa that specializes in clutches. <\/p>\n

That was a garden-variety problem. <\/p>\n

But then … well, this was the only rental car available for 150 miles in any direction. <\/p>\n

And it seems the price of U-Hauls has gone utterly insane like the price of food and motels and other sometimes necessary things. <\/p>\n

Other than that … <\/p>\n

It’s like I said.<\/p>\n
