I don&#8217;t know why, but my intuition says that it&#8217;s got something to do with the season, and something to do with a variant of depression. <\/p>\n<p>Sometimes the dreams are really rewarding though.<\/p>\n<p>In the latest one, I was in a small group, walking a long way, in Thailand, maybe not long after it stopped being Siam and was renamed.<\/p>\n<p>We were mapping out the route of some infrastructure, like for hydroelectric power or something like that. <\/p>\n<p>I wanted to write a letter or an essay or something so I could headline it with: <\/p>\n<p>Downstream Along the Chao Phraya<br \/>\nInterior Thailand <\/p>\n<p>When I woke up, I realized the political implications, and that I was probably <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Ra1Lsm_5z78\">Alden Pyle <\/a><\/p>\n<p>or someone very like him. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m still sleeping far too much.
